- Magici Numeri – Translation Game
My version of the “Sex” game (and Lance Piantaggini’s “Septem”). The variation is that “six” isn’t always the number that people are trying to roll. Changing up the number seems to keep the game fresh for the students. This is a bit more labor- and resource-intensive than other activities that I did this week, but worth it. I only play this game once or twice a semester to keep it fresh. Some classes would continue to play the entire class period—and beyond if I let them.
Prep Time: 20 minutes (plus printing and collating)
